“We have the ideal format to deliver on behalf of clients – at Escala we’re flexible enough to do things on a bespoke level in managing clients’ assets, with the optimal level of intellectual and technological application and expertise.”
Paul is a qualified financial planner and has provided advice to high net worth clients since 2002 when he completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in financial planning. He first worked with Goldman Sachs JBWere as a tax analyst in its private client division, later joining UBS in 2006 as a financial planner and investment advisor.
Paul is also qualified to provide advice on options, derivatives and currency trading. His core expertise resides in providing strategic advice tailored to meet clients’ specific objectives. Additionally, Paul provides advice in relation to investment structures (superannuation funds, trusts, companies), and estate, retirement, superannuation, insurance and succession planning.
For Paul, Escala’s independence is vital: “We’re not reliant on one major bank or investment house for investment research, ideas or deal flow. We receive this information from many research houses. And the CIO process we have firmly in place gives us independent, non-biased views on investment markets.”
When Paul joined Escala in mid-2013 his goal in sharing in the ownership of an advisory business marked a further milestone and highpoint in his career.
