On behalf of the Friedreich Ataxia Research Association, thank you so much for attending the 2018 fara Gala Ball on Friday evening.
We are thrilled to announce that through your generosity we have raised over $110,000 to support Friedreich Ataxia gene therapy research for a treatment and cure, double the amount raised in 2017. What an outstanding result!
A very big thankyou to our sponsors Escala Partners, Transworld Freight Solutions, BXC and Scott’s Wines. Thank you also to Joseph Walton, Director at Allard Shelton who did a fantastic job with our inaugural live pledging, raising over $65,000 in ten minutes thanks to your incredible generosity. We will be sending out a tax deductible receipt in the coming days to everyone who pledged.
And if you can, we’d love to see your smiling faces and muscles on social media from 18-20 May in our Lend Us Some Muscle campaign. Simply register, get your tattoos in the mail, put them on and get out and do something muscly. Post it on Instagram with #lendussomemuscle #LUSM2018 #fara.
