Overview
We are proud to announce that Mason Allamby, Steve Collins, Scott Carmichael and Ben James have featured in the top ten of this year’s survey of Australia’s best 100 financial advisors.
The exhaustive survey, conducted by The Australian newspaper in conjunction with respected financial investment publication Barron’s, rates the quality of advisors according to their experience, credentials, service resources and client satisfaction.
It is worth noting that Escala advisors have rated in the top ten in each of the four years the poll has been conducted. Amanda Fong also again featured in the top 100, for the second year running.
Organisers of the survey noted that in the difficult times created by the Covid-19 pandemic, financial advisers need to offer a clearer value proposition than ever before while pursuing their single most important task – looking after their clients.
Mason Allamby, who ranked number three in this year’s survey, says the Escala fundamental of ‘knowing our clients’ has come to the fore during the market upheaval, as it did during the global financial crisis.
He says good relationships with clients and close understanding of their personal situation allows Escala advisers to ‘get things right’ from a structuring and strategic planning perspective.
These continued top rankings in the survey attest to Escala’s team-based approach and continual focus on identifying opportunities to innovate and lead the way in wealth management.
This year, more than 300 nominations for the survey were selected by an advisory board comprising professionals from across the financial industry. You can read more in the latest issue of The Australian’s monthly business magazine, The Deal, or by visiting The Australian website.
